What it does

  1. Three subjects, one shelf

    Microeconomics, finance and economics, each with its own index of topics rather than one undifferentiated glossary.

  2. Short entries, plain words

    Capital, arbitrage, cash flow, discounted cash flow, financial modelling — defined in a few paragraphs you can actually finish standing up.

  3. Vocabulary first

    The premise is that financial independence starts with the words. Investing, property, running a business and reading a balance sheet all rest on the same handful of ideas.
